Our very own Manxman Bill Quine shares some photographs of his involvement with Mini engineering.
Bill's interest in motorbikes and the TT set him off to a career in engineering.
In 1965 Bill took up work with Downton Engineering who were at the cutting edge of Mini tuning of the day in the UK. Later working for cylinder head tuners Janspeed before forming his own company in 1973 in Wiltshire "Manx Racing Developments".
Bill ran his business and was very successful until finally retiring back to the Isle of Man in 2003.
